I cant watch the replay right now, but based on the comments it sounds like you reaper expanded. Even if I do notice something, what is the response? Don't build my natural, and start a bunker, another reaper and another a rax? Is there a way other than sitting there trying to count the exact number of SCVs in his mineral line? The difference between 12 and 14 SCVs in a mineral line doesn't seem like something you could easily tell at a glance. This feels almost impossible to scout, and very difficult to defend. I build my natural, use my reaper to try to fend off his reaper- and then get squashed by 4 more reapers. Assuming he is playing standard, I head home with my SCV- I did not wait to see if he dropped his natural. I didn't notice at the time, but the only minor differences are that he hasn't started his orbital, and he has 2 less SCVs in his mineral line. 1 Rax, 1 Depot, 1 Gas- my own base currently looks identical. My SCV rolls up into his base, and everything seems pretty normal. I SCV scouted right after building my rax. But even without those mistakes, I would still have been crushed. My reaper micro was terrible, and my SCV scout I accidentally sent on a roundabout path. Admittedly, I did not do a very good job this game. I am really confused how I am supposed to be able to scout and defend against this. I just lost a game to 2 Rax proxy reaper.
